Competitive PUBG now available to players of all skill levels through Challengermode Community Cups.
Challengermode, the world's most accessible digital arena for competitive gaming are now launching daily and weekly online tournaments for PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG), building on its previous success with similar tournaments for games like League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
During the spring Challengermode has quickly become the PUBG platform of choice for Tournament Organizers such as DreamHack and StarLadder. Hosting tournaments like the $100,000 DreamHack PUBG Showdown and the CIS, NA and SA Qualifiers for the $2,000,000 PUBG Global Invitational. Challengermode now wants to provide the same high-quality competitive experience to teams and players of all skill levels by creating open community cups.
The tournament formats will vary but will typically be short, daily or weekly competitions with monthly finals in solo, duo and squad formats across all maps. The tournaments are rolling out in the EU region first but will later be offered for NA and SA as well. Prizes include small sums of money as well as sponsored merchandise.
By extending the Challengermode tournament experience to PUBG players of all skill levels, we hope to provide casual and engaging competitions on a weekly basis that create a reliable esports format and gives players a way to get the full esports experience without having to sacrifice all their time. We’re rewarding regular players for their skill and effort in an accessible format.

In addition to the recurring community events on challengermode.com, Challengermode is also launching National competitions across Europe, starting with Scandinavia under the banner of the NEL (National Esports Leagues). The first esports to be included within the NEL, aside from PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, are Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and League of Legends.
