Chromafora appoints new Country Manager to drive growth in Denmark
Ahmed Chahabat has been appointed Country Manager of Chromafora Denmark, further strengthening the company's growth ambitions following its acquisition earlier this year. At the same time, founder Tore Svendsen will take on the role of Technical Advisor to the company.
A marine engineer with expertise in water treatment, high ambitions and strong leadership skills, Ahmed Chahabat is a welcome addition to Chromafora as the company looks toward future development and expansion. Ahmed will primarily strengthen the Danish team, but will be a valuable asset to the entire organization. To ensure that both expertise and experience are retained, Tore Svendsen will be available as a supporting resource for technical advice to the company.
"We are delighted to welcome Ahmed to our Chromafora team. He brings a strong background in leadership, sales and business development, combined with highly relevant experience in water technology. We look forward to building further on the strong foundation established at Vandrensning and ECT2, led by Tore," says Johan Seijmer, CEO of Chromafora.
Ahmed joins Chromafora from his role as Sales Manager at Hach Denmark, where in recent years he has led high-performing sales teams in both Denmark and Sweden, as well as worked on business development and driving growth.
"I look forward to becoming part of Chromafora, because I am inspired by Chromafora's mission to redefine water treatment through innovative and sustainable chemistry. The opportunity to contribute to technologies that remove PFAS and heavy metals, while supporting the recycling and reuse of valuable resources, aligns closely with my interest in environmental sustainability and scientific innovation," says Ahmed.
With nearly 40 installations in continuous operation, around half of them in Denmark, Chromafora intends to develop its service business and continue expanding its installed base.
Ahmed Chahabat will take up the position of Country Manager for Chromafora Denmark in September 2026.
