CMS Wistrand strengthens Banking & Finance team as Mattias Dacker joins Stockholm office
We are expanding our Banking & Finance team in Stockholm with Mattias Dacker, who joins as Counsel on 18 August. His arrival comes at a time of strong demand across the sector, where we are increasingly called upon for complex, multi-jurisdictional financings and regulatory mandates.
Mattias joins from Eversheds Sutherland, where he was Principal Associate and recognized as a Leading Associate in Banking & Finance by The Legal 500 2022-2025.
He brings extensive experience advising banks, financial institutions, and corporate borrowers on high-value lending, acquisition, real estate, and project financings across multiple jurisdictions in Europe and the Nordics. His expertise in regulatory matters and FinTech adds a distinctive edge, perfectly complementing our strong and broad Banking & Finance practice, which spans cross-border transactions, restructuring, real estate and project finance, export and acquisition financings, and fund regulation.
As a panel firm for multiple international banks and a go-to advisor for real estate financings, restructuring, and complex project financings, strengthening our Banking & Finance team with Mattias is a natural step in a long-standing strategic focus on delivering broad, cross-border expertise to our clients.
