Redpill Linpro, Scandinavia's largest Open Source company and leading Alfresco partner in the region, have signed a partnership agreement with Formtek Inc. Formtek delivers extensions for Alfresco that extend the products’ integration capabilities as well as add new functionality.
Alfresco is the open platform for business critical content management and collaboration, helping organizations access, manage, deliver and secure their content. Since 2005, Alfresco has enabled companies to more effectively collaborate across the extended enterprise and put their content to work. Gartner has named Alfresco a visionary five years in a row. Formtek, Inc. is a US-based company that has been providing mission-critical Content Management software and services to some of the largest and most demanding engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, and technical organizations in the world for over two decades. The experience from these projects has been implemented in the Formtek Engineering Data Management (EDM) Solution for Alfresco. Formtek EDM provides a packaged solution for managing engineering documents and drawings using the Alfresco One content platform, and integrates Alfresco with AutoCAD®, an industry leading 2D and 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software application. Through the partnership with Redpill Linpro, these Formtek extensions will also be made available for Scandinavian users of Alfresco.
