Cuviva and smartQare forge strategic partnership to transform hospital-to-home care

In response to growing pressure on healthcare systems worldwide, Cuviva AB and smartQare BV today announced a strategic partnership aimed at transforming how patients are monitored and cared for at home, particularly in the critical period following hospital discharge
Region Dalarna selects Cuviva in procurement for self-monitoring. The region has a special focus on including patients with multimorbidity. These patients often have the most extensive healthcare needs, hence it is especially important to start with them in terms of prioritization. Cuviva's advanced MDR-certified platform is well proven to meet the needs of these patient groups.
Through the acquisition of ScientificMed, Cuviva takes an active and leading role in the development of a comprehensive range of values that includes both broad solutions for distance monitoring and follow-up of chronically ill and specialized digital therapies in oncology today, and subsequently more specific diagnostic areas.
In response to the growing need for safe care for patients in the risk groups, Capio Närsjukvård launched the Capio Hemma service in 2020. Capio Närsjukvård and the e-health company Cuviva, which delivers the infrastructure for the Capio Hemma service, are now deepening their collaboration to further increase the quality of care and security for the individual through the Capio Hemma service.
