Small Prague breweries are IN

Brewery “U tří růží”

This award-winning small brewery in the Karlova street in the centre of Prague will celebrate 2 years this May. The brewery has always 6 types of self-produced beer on tape and offers one or two new types prepared by an experienced brewer every month.  Some of their most popular ones are the pale lager, the Vienna red lager and the strong Monastic special beer brewed by monks. The chef Martin Procházka cooks traditional Czech cuisine including beer roasted ribs or rabbit leg with oat groat risotto.

“Potrefená Husa na Verandách”

Popular brewery and restaurant right in the area of Smíchovský pivovar offers 10 self-produced types of beer including tank beer. The restaurant is a part of “Potrefená Husa” chain and was listed among the best breweries in Prague by San Pellegrino guide last year. The restaurant offers traditional Czech cuisine including beer roasted pork knee, duck cracklings with bread and pickled cucumbers or pork cheeks. They are opening a new patio in the yard in the middle of March.
