Come and experience your own Valentine´s story in the Czech Republic

In the Czech Republic you can celebrate Valentine´s Day in many different ways. It really only depends on whether you prefer a romantic, relaxing or sports break. You can choose the perfect Valentine´s Day for yourself and your partner from the wide range of offers. It will be a holiday to remember for the rest of your lives.

Gentle romance

While visiting Prague do not forget to visit some of its most romantic areas such as Petrin Hill, Charles Bridge or Prague Castle.

If you admire Czech castles, we would recommend the beautifully restored castle in Trnova. You can rest on the terrace or in the castle garden, relax by the pool, indulge in a rejuvenating massage and generally enjoy the peace and privacy this family-owned castle close to Prague has to offer. There will be a special Valentine´s menu prepared by a top class chef. You will have the opportunity to taste some exquisite wines from the castle cellar or just enjoy each other´s company by candle light in the stunning castle rooms.

Pleasant relaxation

Forget soft toys, chocolates, flowers and jewellery as a gift for your love this year and go for a special Valentine´s spa package instead. You will both enjoy the pampering with herbal and peat baths; honey, chocolate and other relaxation massages, whirlpools, saunas and swimming pools. They will give you lots of energy to face the year ahead. All of this and more awaits you in the romantic ambiance of Hotel Zamecek in the spa town of Podebrady

Recreational sport

Some of the Czech skiing centres offer attractive Valentine´s Day discounts. To name but one, the Razula Skiing Centre in the Beskydy Mountains holds their popular annual event called “Valentine´s skiing for a kiss” from Monday February 11 until Friday February 15, 2013. If a couple arrives at the ticket office together and can demonstrate their mutual feelings in a convincing way, they will receive the second skiing pass free of charge. The way to convince the ticket officer of their love depends entirely on the couple themselves and their imagination.
