Prague Fashion Weekend
Czech fashion brands showcase themselves on stages.The Czech Republic has a chance to become a popular fashion destination. Prague Fashion Weekend aims to support and present Czech fashion designers and brands. During this four-day marathon of fashion shows, Czech designers meet their counterparts from around the world. Statistics from 2013 show there were 45 fashion shows, 54 designers, brands and art schools, 1260 models and 17,000 visitors. The shows on Paris Street, an exclusive location in the heart of Prague, resemble fashion weeks in Berlin, London and Milan. Unlike them, however, Prague is open to the general public. Come and see with your own eyes and ears!

European Heritage Days
A unique opportunity to visit interesting sights that are otherwise inaccessible!
Every year in September European Heritage Days opens up to the public the most interesting landmarks, buildings and premises, including those that are partially or completely inaccessible. Most events and open-house days take place, of course, on weekends, but during weekdays, you can have a look at places that are closed over the weekend, and become familiar with the process of conservation and restoration. A variety of special events are held as part of EHD, including lectures, concerts, town festivals, and competitions. Individual countries and cities announce their national themes, and the opening of European Heritage Days in the Czech Republic will be on September 6, 2014, in Opava.

Architecture Week Prague
The International Festival of Architecture and Urbanism invites you to Prague and other Czech cities.
The project Meet Czech Design includes three autumn events: Designblok’14 / Prague Design and Fashion Week, Prague Fashion Weekend and the festival of architecture and urbanism Architecture Week. Each year has a different main theme and different intention. The program includes lectures, forums, film screenings, and excursions in search of architecture and interesting exhibitions that are dedicated to new trends in architecture. In parallel with the festival, the Days of Cities takes place on Republic Square in Prague.

Jazz Without Borders Pilsen
Jazz and autumn go together – Enjoy a jazz festival in Pilsen!
The international festival Jazz Without Borders, which in addition to Pilsen visits many other cities in the region from October to December 2014, has gained a respectable position on the European jazz scene during the past nine years. The festival welcomes amateur and professional jazz ensembles and soloists, especially from the Czech Republic and Germany. The program offers a workshop for active jazz musicians, a jazz dance workshop and also a guitar and big band workshop, with the participants traditionally performing before audiences in a special concert.
