The New Year’s ascent to Lipno Treetop Walk is becoming an increasingly popular activity.
Most visitors to the New Year's journey start out on foot from the central parking lot in Lipno and walk along a marked path through the forest. Biathlon World Cup
The stars of the World Biathlon are heading to Vysočina! Competitions will be held in the mixed relay race, sprint and pursuit.
The biathlon is one of the most successful winter sports and the success of Czech representatives at the Olympics in Sochi, where they won a total of five medals in this field, made it very popular in the Czech Republic. The top biathlon events on Czech soil will be the BMW IBU World Cup in Nové Město na Moravě, at the place where the 2013 World Championships took place. That was entered into the international public awareness of sports fans through great organization and excellent spectators. The same can be expected from the upcoming World Cup in the heart of the picturesque Vysočina region, which in winter provides ideal conditions, especially for lovers of cross-country skiing.
