Do you desire to explore Prague in different light? From Thursday 15 till Sunday 18 October you have a perfect chance to experience its outstanding atmosphere. We assure you that the third year of the audio-visual festival will take your breath. Historical centre of Prague, namely Old Town Square, Hybernia Palace, The Fruit Market, but also Kampa, will be lighted up with videomapping, light and interactive installations. Moreover, this year is free for everybody.

High tech penetrating modern arts

Connecting creativity, new technologies and public space becomes very popular nowadays thus there are more and more spectators and artists taking part in the creation of this open-air master piece. SIGNAL is a proud member of the International Lightfestival Organisation.

Famous artists in spotlights

Artists from abroad such as Quayola or Joanie Lemercier will showcase their installations, as well as major Czech artists like painter and musician Petr Nikl or David Černý, famous for his controversial Entropa or Statue of Saint Wenceslas riding a dead horse.

Festival bright highlights

One of this year’s specials will be an illuminated air sculpture by American artist Janet Echelman. It’s thanks to light and sound that Petřín Tower will be transformed into a Medusa and Střelecký ostrov (Shooter’s Island) will bloom into a Magical garden.

So do not stay aside, keep up with the modern art trends and enjoy SIGNAL festival.
