Tribute to romantic hotels in Czech Republic

When it comes to romantic getaways the Czech Republic leads to the way with its award-winning hotels and castles . Enjoy the late summer and one another company which is surrounded by luxury and distinguished service in Europe's most romantic hotels.

Summer time is long gone and autumn has announced its arrival. However, this is not the case in the Czech Republic.  The Czech late summer is still alive well known like a Babí Léto, which brings life to your summer clothes for the last time before winter.

Multiple award-winning hotels in the center

In recent time, the best hotels in the Czech Republic have taken home almost all of the awards and of course they are located in Prague.

A stone's throw from the Charles Bridge, the pearl of Prague is hidden: The Alcymist Nosticova Palace. The hotel was recently elected like the seventh of the best in Europe and recognized as one of the most romantic hotels in the world. Here you can spend the night in 16 different suites, all of which are named after historical personalities – among others; you can stay in the suite of Danish Tycho Brahe on the 1st floor.

Spa is located five minutes away from The Alchymist Grand Hotel and it is the only hotel from the Czech Republic, which has managed to enter the top 10 on the list of Europe's most luxurious hotels. In 2012 the hot tubs of the hotel were on ' the golden list' and it is the perfect place for couples.

Each hotel have ‘romantic package solutions’, which among other things, include wine tasting, couples massage, spa and private transport around Prague.

Live like a noble in the castle

If you want to experience other than the city life, the Czech Republic has other things up its sleeve.

At the five-star Chateau Mcely, which is situated one hour away from Prague, the trophy cabinet is soon filled up the latest addition for the most 'green' luxury hotel. For instance all meals and spa products are made from local ingredients, which have also brought them to the top 10 of the prestigious Grand Restaurant Guide.

At Chateau Herálec, which is situated also only an hour away from Prague, things are going well. In 2012 the five-star castle received the award for the most beautiful park and the Vysocina region, where the castle is situated, has several things on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the city of Trebic, among other things, you can visit St. Procopius Basilica, which was built in the 13th century.

Also very well reachable from Prague is the UNESCO-town Telč. Telč is situated only 1,5hours drive by car from Prague. Close to Telč you will find the award winning Svatá Kateřina Resort. In 2012, the old castle got the 5th place in the TTG Travel Award – “Best hotel in the Czech Republic”. TTG Travel Awards represents the highest quality evaluation of the tourism sector in the Czech Republic and the winners are selected by tourism experts, but also by the public. Hidden in the romantic forest, you can enjoy the peace and quietness in the beautiful countryside of Vysočina and the Svata Katerina Resort, which offers yoga, pilates, golfing, horse riding and experts such as dietician or personal trainer.

The four -star Chateau St. Havel is tucked in the forest on the outskirts of Prague and received, this year, a ‚TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence”, so if you need to take care of your love life, the Czech Republic is a good place to start.
