  • Český Krumlov, a fairy tale UNESCO town

    Back in medieval times, when the site in the valley of the Vltava River which Cesky Krumlov occupies today was nothing more than a deep forest, bandits occupied the rocky cliff above the town from where they used to attack travellers and merchants. Cesky Krumlov today is among the most beautiful towns in the Czech Republic and features on the prestigious UNESCO list of World and Cultural Heritage.

  • The pearl of the South Bohemian folk baroque on the UNESCO list

    Holasovice is the best example of a preserved complex of houses built in the South Bohemian folk baroque style from the second half of the 19th Century. The only difference for the people of Holasovice since the village was included in the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998 is the curious tourists wandering behind the windows of their homes.
