DAILY SPORTS’ FIRST SUSTAINABLE THEME

For 25 years, good quality and timeless design have been Daily Sports’ core values. Now Daily Sports is now introducing Conscious Golf, its first sustainable theme.

More than 50% of all clothing made worldwide is incinerated or thrown away within a year. Daily Sports has always had quality and timeless design close to heart. Being aware of the effects of the clothing industry on local surroundings and the wider environment. So it has produced Conscious Golf as part of the collection for spring 2020. Besides their feminine cut and beautifully textured fabrics, the garments are also durable.

“We aim to have 100% of our outdoor clothing and at least 50% of our golf clothing sustainability-labeled by 2025. Good factory conditions are also extremely important to
us, and is therefore something we are constantly working to improve,” says Ulrika Skoghag,
CEO of Daily Sports.

Daily Sports has an established partnership with Amfori BSCI to improve social performance in its supply chain. This is the company's first major step towards becoming a sustainable business.

“The best contribution you can make to the environment in terms of clothes and sustainability
is to make clothes last longer. When you can, air your garments instead of washing them,
and use lower temperatures when you do need to use the washing machine. Think Slow Fashion, and have fewer garments of better quality for the environment’s sake,” says Ulrika Skoghag, CEO of Daily Sports.
