Marc Minkowski, one of the leading conductors in the world, is coming to Drottningholm, accompanied by a French artistic team, to stage Mozart’s Da Ponte trilogy 2015-2017. The first of these to be performed is Le nozze di Figaro, opening 2 August. By attracting this trio of artists, gives Drottningholms Slottsteater well and truly a place on the international map in terms of opera.
Marc Minkowski, en av världens främsta dirigenter, kommer till Drottningholmsteatern i sommar tillsammans med ett franskt team som rönt stora framgångar för tolkningar av barockens mästerverk. Under tre säsonger gör de Mozarts Da Ponte-trilogi. Att Drottningholmsteatern har lyckats locka till sig dessa tre konstnärer är lite av en sensation som placerar teatern på den internationella operakartan.
