EIT Health community vs. COVID-19 - new response platform launched
The COVID-19 pandemic is having a devastating impact on our society. As Europe’s largest organisation for collaboration within life science innovation, leveraging the strength of Europe’s leading health innovators, the EIT Health community wants to use its large network to play a role in responding to the crisis. We have therefore launched a COVID-19 response platform, facilitating connections between those who seek help and those who want to offer support.
There are many organisations within the EIT Health community, such as hospitals, that require support in their fight against COVID-19. There are also many in our community who are ready to help such organisations where possible and appropriate. With that in mind, EIT Health wants to help making the right connections between those that ‘need’ and those that ‘have’, and facilitate collaborations between members of the EIT Health community and beyond.
Therefore we have set up the "EIT Health community vs. COVID-19" response platform, where those looking for help in fighting COVID-19, and those who have something that could help other organisations or individuals working on the front line, are encouraged to make their request or offer known and submit it at the EIT Health website. This could be organisations who need, or who are offering, equipment, services, advice, knowledge, collaboration opportunities etc.
Requests or offers submitted will be received and processed by the Scandinavian CLC team, who will identify relevant connections. requests and offers will also be shared on the EIT Health website or social media.
