Halda – now available at Kenjo, New York

The release of our new Race Pilot has sparked a lot of attention around the world which has led to further interest of the unique Halda watches. We are therefore proud to announce another prominent international cooperation.

This time the turn has come to Kenjo Watches just west off Fifth Avenue in the metropolitan city of New York. Kenjo carries both classic high-end brands and models, to exotic one-of-a-kind timepieces. The shared vision of excellent service standards and passion for watches makes Kenjo a perfect fit for Halda to meet the increasing North American demand.

About Halda Watch Company
Halda Watch Company was founded in 1887 by Swedish watch-maker Henning Hammarlund. It quickly became a worldwide success known for its advanced fine mechanics and quality.
Halda watches featured on prominent people such as HMK Oscar II and renowned Swedish writer August Strindberg and the watches were also honoured with several international awards in competition with the very best watch producers at that time. In 2009, Halda Watch Company was brought back to life by watch entrepreneur Mikael Sandström, through the  introduction of the concept and plans for the modern Halda – the Halda Space Discovery Limited Edition, first released on the market in 2011.
The Haldas of the 21st century follows the devise of its founding father, Henning Hammarlund – to never compromise with quality or function. For its’ manifestation of advanced and pioneering technical engineering and fine mechanics, the Halda Space Discovery was honoured with a placement in the Swedish pavilion at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai. In 2011, it featured as part of the exhibition ‘NASA – A Human Adventure’, world premiering at National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm. In 2012, the Halda Space Discovery received the Red Dot Design Award one of the most prestigious design awards one can ever get, often referred to as the ‘Nobel Prize of Design’.

    The global interest for Halda is steadily increasing and the brand has witnessed a growing demand from Japan. To meet the this demand Halda has entered an agreement with Sphere Branding Inc. that will function as the local sales representative on the Japanese market.

  • Halda expands the cooperation with Bergström’s Ur

    Late last year, we presented the news that Halda is available at Bergström’s Ur in Malmö. Now we are pleased to inform that the cooperation has expanded and the Halda Space Discovery now also is available in Bergström’s boutique in Gothenburg, located at Östra Hamngatan 43 on the famous Avenyn.
