About Halda Watch Company
Halda Watch Company was
founded in 1887 by Swedish watch-maker Henning Hammarlund. It quickly
became a worldwide success known for its advanced fine mechanics and

were also honoured with several international awards in competition with
the very best watch producers at that time. In 2009, Halda Watch
Company was brought back to life by watch entrepreneur Mikael Sandström,
through the introduction of the concept and plans for the modern Halda
– the Halda Space Discovery Limited Edition, first released on the
market in 2011.
The Haldas of the 21st century follows the devise of
its founding father, Henning Hammarlund – to never compromise with
quality or function. For its’ manifestation of advanced and pioneering
technical engineering and fine mechanics, the Halda Space Discovery was
honoured with a placement in the Swedish pavilion at the World Expo 2010
in Shanghai. In 2011, it featured as part of the exhibition ‘NASA – A
