Eyevinn provided consultancy services for Tobii’s solution to display gaze overlay in broadcast e-sport
This weekend, Dell Alienware, ELEAGUE and Tobii are introducing new technology in the form of eye tracking into the ELEAGUE tournament of CS:GO, allowing the audience to see where CS:GO players is actually looking.
Eyevinn Technology, a consultant company specialised in video streaming and broadcast technologies, provided consultancy services to Tobii when developing a broadcasting solution to make it possible for a broadcaster to display a gaze overlay directly to the live audience in the arena along with millions of viewers following the event via live streaming.
“Tobii has built an impressive high precision eye tracking solution. My job, as a broadcast specialist, was to fit that solution into a high tech gaming broadcast infrastructure. I’m very pleased with the result and it will be a pleasure to see it go live tonight” says Kennet Eriksson, video encoding specialist at Eyevinn Technology
