Ferroamp’s EnergyHub system put on display to the world
The theme of Sweden’s pavilion at the world expo in Dubai is “Co-creation for innovation”, a theme embraced by Ferroamp, Soltech and Nilar as the Swedish companies’ collaboration on the energy supply for the pavilion is put on display in Dubai.
Participation at the world expo, “Connecting Minds – Creating the Future”, in Dubai is the Swedish government's single biggest investment in promoting export and investment, and it all starts on 1 October this year. The theme of Swedish pavilion is “Co-creation for innovation”.
Ferroamp, together with Soltech and Nilar, are the suppliers behind the energy system in the Swedish pavilion. Soltech’s solar panels, Nilar’s energy storage solutions and Ferroamp’s EnergyHub, which connect, control and optimize energy, form the system that supplies the pavilion with renewable energy.
“Renewable energy has a key role to play in the solution to the energy transition and sustainable urban development for the future. There need to be a lot of us contributing different solutions and technologies to meet this challenge. Together with Soltech and Nilar, we’re showing examples of Swedish innovation and collaboration that contribute to a more sustainable society”, says Krister Werner, CEO of Ferroamp.
To illustrate the path taken by solar energy from solar panels to storage and energy optimization in an integrated local electricity system, and how this can benefit the sustainable society of the future, the three companies have jointly created a film describing the system.
“One success factor is being able to explain how the EnergyHub system contributes as an enabler of the energy transition, so telling the world about our system in an educational way is an important element of our involvement in Dubai,” concludes Krister Werner.
