J. Lindeberg has arrived in Australia

The Swedish holding company FfS International AB announces that the fashion line by Swedish label J. Lindeberg has debuted in Australia at the retailer Swensk, on 230 Little Collins Street, Melbourne.

Most of the selection has been drawn from the classic range as well as select items from the contemporary line. Johan Lindeberg, with a background as the Creative Director for Diesel, is more commonly known in Australia for bringing fashion to Pro Golfers around the world.

The fashion line has gained international recognition by working with famous musicians around the world as models and brand ambassadors. Juliette Lewis (Juliette Lewis and the Licks), Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode), Alison Mosshart (The Kills) and Carl Barât (Dirty Pretty Things) have all been part of creating the 21st Century Lifestyle brand.

Swensk, the "slow fashion" pilot store has been established since June 2008 in Melbourne, it is Australia's leading specialty store of Swedish designer fashion. J. Lindeberg adds to the previous brands Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair, Filippa K and Whyred. Swensk has recently launched an online store for it's interstate and international customers, http://shop.swensk.com.

"We are extremely excited to partner with J. Lindeberg, one of Sweden's most prestigious brands that is true to the minimalists design style that we supply our customers. Swensk caters to a clientele that believe fashion offers more than what meets the eye. They want to be noticed for their good taste rather than being an advertising space for the brands they wear," said Mats Ekstrom, founder of Swensk.

About Swensk, Australia Pty Ltd
Although fashion comes and goes, the international brands stocked in our store share the common factor of enduring sophistication. Some people would call it minimalism but for us it is common sense, highlighting the wearer's achievements rather than the brands. For Swensk slow fashion means that our clothes are timeless, both when it comes to quality but more so when it comes to design. Interesting people never go out of fashion.
