Filibaba introduces the Very Veggie app – Recipes for the whole family

Vegetarian food is getting more and more popular. But where to start? What to cook? And how to make the whole family want to taste?

On the 4th of December, Filibaba will release ”Very Veggie”, an new cooking app based on the bestselling cookbooks. In this app all recipes, photos and tips from the books will be collected for you to enjoy!

Very Veggie will be introduced with a launch sale at 40% off. It will start at just $2.99, and settle in at its regular price of $4.99 after a week. It’s the Christmas season, and Very Veggie’s Christmas recipe offers exciting vegetarian alternatives to traditional Christmas dishes. About half of the recipes in this app are lacto-ovo-vegatarian, meaning they contain dairy products and egg, and the rest are entirely vegan. Most recipes can be made vegan using our vegan-friendly tips in the beginning of the recipes.

The first version of the app contains 88 recipes from the books. Filibaba will keep adding new recipes to the best of their abilities until they’re all available in convenient app form. Those who've bought the app will automatically get new recipes as they become available.

Very Veggie is made by Sara Ask (author, food writer and pediatric dietitian) and Lisa Bjärbo (author). Their starting point when creating the recipes was everyday family life – where good, tasty food should be cooked, even when time is scarce and you don’t feel the urge to search the city for rare specialty ingredients.

Very Veggie is an app that’s a pleasure to use, packed with food inspiration. The app works beautifully on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, including the recently launched iPhone X. Very Veggie is well prepared for an international audience; each recipe has been carefully translated to English, with ingredients available in both Metric and US measurements, as well as temperatures in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. Filibaba hopes their good relationship will Apple will help give Very Veggie the best possible introduction to the App Store.
