Martin Jarlstedt appointed as new Factory Manager at Food for Progress

As reported, during the past year, plant-based food production specialist Food for Progress has invested in organizational development and a brand-new production facility in Mölnlycke. Now the company announces an important September recruitment, Factory Manager Martin Jarlstedt.

Food for progress is scaling up its operations to meet increasing customer demands. The company offers high-quality and nutritious plant-based food for brands all over the world. A brand-new facility is taking shape in Mölnlycke and they are transforming an ice cream factory in Trollhättan into plant-based production. To successfully make this happen, Martin Jarlstedt has officially teamed up with Food for progress.

– Martins's long experience in food production and logistics will help Food for Progress scale up rapidly and faster become the leader in innovative food production. I cannot think of a better person for this assignment, says CEO Erik Gumabon.

Having spent more than the past decade as Factory Manager and Site Manager, at Gothenburg-based companies like Pågen and Kahls, Martin brings a lot of important experience to Food for Progress. Martin will not only be Factory Manager at Mölnlycka, he will also be the one in charge of transforming the ice cream factory in Trollhättan into a plant-based production.

– I’m honored and humbled for the opportunity to use my experience in food production to help humanity transform into a more sustainable diet. I get a kick out of seeing my kids be proud of their old man doing what it takes to take responsibility for the world we leave behind, says an excited Martin Jarlstedt.
