Tech & Education Advocate Peetu Nuottajärvi Wins Silver Young Founder of the Year
Peetu Nuottajärvi, co-founder of Buutti, received the global award Young Founder of the Year in Silver for his passion to develop society through technology and education at the Founders Awards Gala on September 20, 2023.

Buutti is a software consulting company, owned and founded in 2017 by Peetu Nuottajärvi and his co-founders Dan Ackers, Mikko Koistinen, Jani Lehtovirta, and Miikka Salmi. Wanting to share their passion for programming they started an education company, then focused on software development of web applications and embedded systems. With 114 employees in Finland and Sweden, Buutti continues to develop society through technology and education.
How the Winners Are Chosen as Young Founder of the Year
The Young Founder of the Year award acknowledges young global founders with the capacity to lead, inspire, and run successful companies. Nominees, under the age of 30, must have founded a private or public limited company, own at least 40% of the shares, achieve a minimum of 50,000 euro in revenue, and have a potential for success.
Assessed by the Founders Alliance Index and evaluated by a Founders Jury of experienced founders, the winners - one female and one male founder - were awarded The Growth Rings in gold at the Founders Awards Gala. The other outstanding finalists were honored as silver winners of the Young Founder of the Year.
The Founders Jury consisted of Madelene Törnblom, Founder of Maya Delorez, Hugo Tilmouth, Founder of the Up.co, Aticka Chona, Founder of GreenKarmas, Lari Tuominen, Founder of Qvik, Åsa Falkman, founder of Hammer & Hanborg and Martina Klingvall, founder of Telness and the Chair of the jury.
