A long journey in southern Europe
Then it was time! Peter and Helena Bergström, who run the digital travel magazine FREEDOMtravel, have set off on a long camper journey, focusing on southern Europe. The trip started with stops in southern Sweden, and now Poland and Germany await, as well as Spain, Croatia, France and Italy, including Corsica and Sardinia.
A lot of research was done before the trip, and the couple is now aiming to find unique experiences and gems, such as charming towns, vineyards, spas, cruises, boat trips, caves, nature areas and much, much more.

The trip will result in lots of inspiring articles on www.freedomtravel.se. A new article is, as usual, published on the website every morning at 06:00. Many of these articles will tell about destinations along the route, but they will also be mixed with travel news (Mondays) and articles written by the other 25 writers who write for FREEDOMtravel, covering many parts of the world.

Earlier this year, Peter and Helena started the travel agency FREEDOM Xplore, in collaboration with the company Your Brand Travel. FREEDOM Xplore is the personal travel agency, with handpicked unique travel experiences. At freedomxplore.com you will find travel packages with a focus on experiences such as spa, food & wine, outdoor activities, historical hikes, boat trips, adventures and unique accommodations, in Sweden as well as abroad. The packages are aimed at travelers who want to stay in a hotel/cottage as well as travelers who want to spend the night in their own camper.
During the camper trip in southern Europe, Peter and Helena will not only search for destinations to write about, but also find unique gems to create exciting travel packages for the travel agency.
Lectures at Elmia Caravan Show
After the camper adventure, Peter and Helena Bergström will come directly to the Elmia Caravan Show, September 10-14 in Jönköping. There, they will lecture about inspiring destinations in southern Europe, and also present awards for “ Destination of the Year Europe 2025” and “Destination of the Year Sweden 2025”!
