Gernandt & Danielsson advises Orrön Energy in connection with sale of Nordic renewable energy platform to Cloudberry
On 25 June 2026, Orrön Energy AB (publ) announced that it has agreed to sell its Nordic renewable energy platform (excluding the Karskruv wind farm) to Cloudberry Clean Energy ASA. The purchase price consists of a combination of cash and shares corresponding to approximately 27 per cent of the total number of shares and votes in Cloudberry. The transaction values the divested operations at an enterprise value of EUR 234.6 million. In connection with the transaction, Orrön Energy has secured a credit facility of EUR 50 million to support continued growth. The transaction is conditional upon approvals under applicable foreign direct investment legislation and by Cloudberry's general meeting of shareholders.
