Gernandt & Danielsson has advised on the establishment of Stiftelsen Nadija Research Foundation
Gernandt & Danielsson has advised the Finnish Foundation for Children’s Hospital and Research Institute Nadija sr (the “Nadija Foundation”) in connection with its establishment of Stiftelsen Nadija Research Foundation, an independent research foundation based in Stockholm, established in collaboration with eight leading international universities – the Universities of Zurich, Copenhagen, Linköping, Helsinki, Cambridge and New South Wales, the Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University and the Ukrainian Catholic University, both in Lviv.
Stiftelsen Nadija Research Foundation aims to develop and operate a research centre of excellence in Ukraine dedicated to psychotraumatology, child and adolescent psychology, mental health, resilience research and epigenetics. The foundation is an initiative of the Nadija Foundation, which was established in 2025 by founders in the Nordic countries in partnership with authorities and institutions in Ukraine, and is funded exclusively through donations.
