Gernandt & Danielsson is advising KlaraBo Sverige AB on the acquisition of a residential property portfolio from SBB and the merger with Sveafastigheter

Gernandt & Danielsson advises KlaraBo Sverige AB ("KlaraBo") on a combined transaction comprising (i) KlaraBo's acquisition of a residential property portfolio comprising approximately 4,100 flats from SBB i Norden AB and (ii) a merger with Sveafastigheter AB (publ) ("Sveafastigheter"), with Sveafastigheter as the surviving company.

The transaction is expected to be completed in September 2026. The combined company will have a property value of approximately SEK 47 billion and approximately 26,500 flats. Sveafastigheter and KlaraBo are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.

Gernandt & Danielsson has advised KlaraBo with a team led by partner Mikael Borg and otherwise consisting of partners Gabriel Zsiga, Mikael Bolling, Anna Eriksson, counsel Fredrik Haräng, senior associates Mikael Yemen, Jessica Khoo and associates Vanessa Sidlo, Viktor Rytter, Viktor Lundberg, Agnes Ulfwinger, Ayda Jakobsson Hatay and Josefin Lindstedt. Partner Peter Forsberg and associate Sofie Hallén have advised on competition law matters, and partner Andreas Holmqvist has advised on employment law matters.
