GINA TRICOT FOLLOWS UP THE SUCCESS WITH BIANCA INGROSSO IN NEW DENIM CAMPAIGN

Following the success of it’s summer campaign with popular TV celebrity, entrepreneur and influencer, Bianca Ingrosso, the fashion chain is now releasing another campaign featuring the popular media profile. This time, the focus is on what Gina Tricot does best of all, besides tricot of course - denim!

Jeans are the MUST-HAVE in every basic wardrobe. This fall, the season’s big denim campaign featuring Bianca will showcase five key styles that are perfect for every occasion. It will be launched on 1 August. We’ll see classic, figure-hugging Molly jeans, cool bootcuts, straight-leg, slim and mom jeans. Dagny mom jeans are one of the new items that Gina Tricot is particularly highlighting this fall and winter.

And, Gina Tricot’s sustainability journey proceed as the company continues to improve and make it’s processes more sustainable. This is particularly important with denim, since it is one of the textile manufacturing processes that consumes the most water. All of the denim in the fashion chain’s product offering is manufactured from 100% more sustainable cotton, which includes both Organic Cotton and BCI (Better Cotton Initiative). BCI is an organization that is striving to transform how traditional cotton farming is done so that it is better for both people and the environment.

Besides investing in more sustainable materials, Gina Tricot is involved in several other sustainability initiatives, including clothing rental and collection of used/discarded clothing at its stores. Clothing collection has been going on since 2012 and the program encourages customers to hand in their old clothes and home textiles at all Gina Tricot stores for reuse/recycling. All of the items that are collected are donated to charitable organizations such as Human Bridge and Fretex. Customers who hand in garments and textiles at Gina Tricot stores get a 10% discount on their next purchase of a sustainable garment from Gina Tricot. Wear – Care – Share!

“We’re very proud to be continuing our collaboration with such a large influencer as Bianca, which has proven to be so popular. It also increases awareness of sustainability, given that our jeans are manufactured in 100% more sustainable cotton!”, says Karin Westas, Communication & Concept Director at Gina Tricot.

The collection featured in Gina Tricot’s big fall denim campaign with Bianca Ingrosso will be available in stores and online at ginatricot.com as of 1 August 2019.
