GINA TRICOT FOLLOWS ON LAST YEAR’S SUCCESS WITH A NEW, TRENDSETTING SUMMER CAMPAIGN
For quite some time, Gina Tricot has looked beyond traditional retail approaches, and is viewed as a pioneer in digital and influencer marketing. Now, in its largest campaign of the year, the fashion chain is blazing new trails again.
"Gina Tricot’s ambition has always been to remain close to its target group – and it’s proven to be a strategy for success. As we all know, summer 2020 will be different for most of us. So we’ve asked six of the Nordic countries’ best content creators and profiles to produce the campaign material themselves, in their own home environments. All six are involved in the effort, from styling to creative production. This is a very timely, innovative campaign,” says Karin Westas Norlander, Brand and Marketing Director for Gina Tricot.
In last year’s edition of the campaign, we could follow TV star, top influencer, and entrepreneur Bianca Ingrosso as she and her close friends Lovisa Worge and Josefine Caarle explored an Italian holiday classic: Portofino on the Amalfi coast. The campaign was a great success and sold out very quickly.
Now the fashion chain can reveal the profiles heading up the summer campaign for 2020: Maja Nilsson Lindelöf, Matilda Djerf, Vanessa Moe, Emma Ellingsen, Tina Maria Hansen and Anna Ericsson. Together they contribute to Gina Tricot’s creative expression and participate in producing all material for the campaign. They work as a group, but in their own homes and environments, to focus on providing inspiration to Scandinavian women and the ultimate fashion experience of “it” clothing items for summer. The Gina Tricot summer campaign consists of two different collections. One showcases key trend garments for summer wardrobes, and the other adds a twist with romantic bohemian details.
Gina Tricot’s summer campaign will be launched on 21 May 2020. Products will be available in selected stores and online at ginatricot.com.
