Granular AB, The Real Stevia Company, Appoints New Managing Director

Today Granular AB, The Real Stevia Company, welcomes Torbjörn Sandberg as new Managing Director for the company. Mr Sandberg has 32 years of experience in international leading positions within food production and agriculture, and throughout his career the focus has been on food and agricultural business development. Mr Sandberg´s background as CEO of “Weibulls AB” (an internationally recognised seed company) and his extensive experience from managing food producing companies in international markets will allow him to quickly contribute to the further growth of Granular AB, the Swedish supplier of sustainably produced stevia.
“Mr Sandberg´s knowledge and expertise in agricultural development have already been a great support to Granular. We are very happy to now welcome Mr Sandberg on board in an executive position in these exciting times, when the focus is to capture the market opportunities stemming from the recent approval of stevia extracts as a food ingredient within the European Union”, says Carl Horn af Rantzien, the company’s founder and former Managing Director. Mr Horn af Rantzien will continue to be involved in the company and primarily work with business development and international relations for Granular AB. He will also continue to serve as President of International Stevia Council.
