GU Ventures @ Nordic Life Science Days

GU Ventures will be at the Nordic Life Science Days, the international life science partnering meeting of SwedenBIO. This year, it is arranged in collaboration with two of our partner incubators, Smile and Medeon. It will be held in Malmö this week, 12-14 September. 

GU Ventures is sharing an exhibition boot, stand #C06, together with Business Region Gothenburg, Gothia Forum at the region of Västra Götaland and our partly-onwed company, Sahlgrenska Science Park.

- I'm delighted to join NLS Days, where the whole life science industry will be present, from big-pharma to start-ups, says Jan Pilebjer, Business Development Director at GU Ventures. We can meet with all potential partners as well as investors and other organisations, that we work with. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for our pitching entrepreneurs.

Two of GU Ventures entrepreneurs, Sara Malcus at Metabogen and Margit Mahlapuu at ScandiCure, have been selected to pitch - with 13 other nordic start-ups - at the Startup Challenge competition supported by Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Smile and Medeo.

Many more of GU Ventures companies will be present at NLS Days, for instance Per Wester and Anders Sandberg at Alzinova, that is developing a novel therapeutic Alzheimer´s disease (AD) vaccine candidate designed to prevent neurodegeneration in the brain.

- It is an excellent opportunity for Alzinova to meet interested parties on our homeground, says Per Wester, CEO of Alzinova.
