GoWest 2025 Is Approaching Fast – Welcoming Startups, Scaleups, and Investors, Including NATO Innovation Investor, to Gothenburg!
Soon, GoWest, Gothenburg’s and West Sweden’s annual venture capital forum for investors, startups, and scaleups, will take place at Karlatornet, Scandinavia’s tallest building. Preparations for the event, scheduled for January 28–30, 2025, are in full swing. NATO’s venture capital arm, managing SEK 12 billion in funds, is actively searching for innovative companies focused on defense, security, and resilience. This January, Schneider-Sikorsky will visit GoWest in Gothenburg to identify promising Swedish startups for potential investment opportunities.

The event is part of a larger initiative aimed at strengthening the supply of capital within and to West Sweden. It seeks to increase the region's international visibility and attract international investors, talent, and industry stakeholders. This collaborative project brings together key players to enhance funding opportunities for startups and scaleups in the region, working closely with investors, industry leaders, and ecosystem stakeholders. On the first day of the conference, January 28, 2025, the Deep Tech Investor Day will take place. The Main Conference will follow on January 29–30, 2025.
GoWest is managed by GU Ventures and co-funded by the EU through the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket) and the Västra Götaland Region, along with around 50 partners.
