Global Warning System (GWS) has signed a partnership agreement with Resia AB (Resia), one of the largest travel agency groups in Sweden and Scandinavia. Resia will integrate a re-branded version of GWS’ Safeture service in their product offering. The business model is built on revenue share.

The GWS Safeture service is a personal security service, which provides time and place critical alerts and information about man-made and natural disasters and incidents, as well as other threats, directly into one’s smartphone through an app that is easily downloaded. The app provides safety and service for people when traveling. Resia offers travel solutions for both leisure and business. Resia Travel Group, owned by Resia AB, consists of several brands like Resia, Bengt-Martins, Resfeber, Box Office, Cruise Market, Flygofar and Hyttespecialisten. Resia has been awarded best Swedish corporate travel agency eight times. The agreement with GWS includes integration and re-branding of the corporate Safeture service, Safeture Pro, which will be a part of the product offering towards Swedish business customers. The Product Manager at Resia, Karin Wadmark, describes how the solution will strengthen Resia:

“We always want to be at the forefront, constantly developing our services and offers. Our customers and their needs are guiding us, and we can see that safety and security become more and more important to them. The Safeture solution gives both the travelers and the responsible managers for corporate travel the safety they need. We are very proud of being ranked as the best corporate travel agency, and by adding this service we have a possibility to both strengthen our position and further differentiate our offer.”

GWS has been successful in methodically signing contracts within most of their targeted segments for global growth. Through the contract with Resia, GWS will further penetrate the travel segment and consolidate a position as a leading provider of modern and personal travel security. Andreas Rodman, CEO at GWS, comments:

”We are very happy to cooperate with Resia, a highly respected travel agency, whose business customers fit perfectly into our target group. This contract is yet another proof of the attractiveness of our service and our offering to the travel business.”
