In September, Samskip will launch a new container service to Hallands Hamnar in Halmstad. Through this partnership, Halmstad becomes part of one of Iceland’s most important cargo flows, further strengthening its position as a growing logistics hub in Sweden. The service is expected to handle around 250 containers per week between Sweden, Iceland, and the rest of Europe.
Oceanhamnen in Halmstad has been inaugurated as the first phase of Hallands Hamnar’s SEK 1.4 billion investment initiative.
