With the revolutionary Microlab STAR IVD workstation, in 2002 Hamilton introduced a new generation of highly flexible workstation to the diagnostic market, which further strengthened Hamilton’s position. Meanwhile more than two thousands STAR IVD systems are in diagnostic labs in blood bank or hospitals. Main applications are pooling of blood samples, DNA extraction, PCR setup or ELISA preparation.
