Bioanalytical STARlet; Fully automated sample preparation for LC MS in lockable Flip Tubes

Bioanalytical STARlet

Fully automated sample processing for therapeutic drug monitoring offers traceability and reproducibility

Focused on drugs with a narrow therapeutic range, LC-MS is an increasingly important method for therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM). With numerous variables influencing drug concentration data, sample preparation is key to ensure accuracy of the analytical method. Hamilton’s Bioanalytical STARlet workstation offers fully automated sample preparation for pre-analytical and analytical LCMS workflows including direct injection into the HPLC. Minimizing human interaction with blood, serum, or plasma samples, the Bioanalytical STARlet includes barcode reading to reduce human errors and provide sample traceability whilst completing just-in-time sample processing during the HPLC runtime.

►Fully automated sample preparation in lockable Flip Tubes

►All reagents in lockable glass bottles or Flip Tubes

►Direct parameter analysis – no waiting time prior to analysis

►No timing effects such as degradation or sample metabolism – all samples including QC and calibration points are treated equally

►Direct Injection in the HPLC system – no need for an additional Autosampler

►No carry over due to the usage of disposable tips during injection and injector port cleaning steps

►Complete sample tracking from primary sample to result with complete LIMS integration – minimal user intervention

►Priority sample processing possible
