HEART 17 LAUNCHES HEARTBEAT TO CELEBRATE CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION

April 21 is the official UN World Creativity and Innovation Day, which aims to highlight the importance of creativity and innovation for sustainable development. From this year, April 21 will be celebrated at the event Heartbeat, to spread hope and inspiration about the progress towards the 17 Global Goals. Heartbeat is arranged by the global initiative HEART 17, founded by Anna Ryott and Jörgen Andersson in partnership with UNDP.

Young people around the world feel both fear and hopelessness for the future, as the news is constantly covered with the global climate crisis, pandemic, war and injustice. In collaboration with the UN Development Program, UNDP, Anna Ryott and Jörgen Andersson therefore started the global initiative HEART 17 to spread hope and awareness to accelerate the progress towards the 17 Global Goals. Launched on April 21, which is the official "UN World Creativity and Innovation Day", Heartbeat takes place to celebrate all good initiatives taken to achieve the Goals.

- It feels fantastic to be able to gather so many here today, both business, youth leaders, artists and creators. Heartbeat will be a real injection of inspiration, hope and creativity, strengthened by the fact that there is a plan and that we do this together, says Anna Ryott, founder and chairman of HEART 17.

Heartbeat is arranged for the first time at Fotografiska in Stockholm, where a broad mix of both business, young people and creators gather for panel discussions, music performances, networking and inspiration.
