IAS has on-going Inclusive Education (IE) programs in:

Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Somaliland, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Our main focus is to train and equip government school teachers to be able to include children with disabilities in the ordinary school systems.

We believe:

• in treating all people as we would like to be treated ourselves
• in the right to education for all
• that everybody can learn
• that everybody can grow intellectually, socially and emotionally
• that everybody has a potential that should be developed
• that everybody can and want to contribute to society
• that people will feel valued and appreciated when they are regarded with dignity and respect.
