IDENTIC secure Logent Ports & Terminals’ functionality at port terminal

Logent Ports & Terminals have operations in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Sundsvall. In Ports of Stockholm they provide stevedoring services in Tegelviken, Värtahamnen and Stadsgården.

IDENTIC’s ID Link, a system for automatic data collection, is already represented in Ports of Stockholm, and through a recently reached agreement IDENTIC secure the functionality in the daily port operations. This is accomplished by a “function rent” agreement which vouch for everyday security when it comes to the refuelling equipment since it includes both service and spare parts, but also by planning for future upgrades within the framework of the agreement.

- Port terminals is probably not the segment that IDENTIC is foremost associated with, but they are since long a part of our target group, like all operations with larger fleets and depots. Our offer works equally well in ports, railway depots and in industrial environments such as at a bus depot, says Andreas Westberg Sales and Marketing Director at IDENTIC. – What we do at the port is to provide a key functionality which is reliable, of high quality and environmentally safe, in this case a refuelling solution for the vehicle fleet which consists of terminal tractors and forklifts with a capacity of up to 42 tons, and it is with confidence and joy that we see more and more port operators asking for exactly that, concludes Andreas.
