BRIO selects inRiver PIM for information quality in all channels
BRIO, the Swedish toy manufacturer, has selected inRiver PIM (Product Information Management) for efficient and time-saving management of their product information and keeping a consistent quality in all their channels.
Creating quality toys and selling their products through their large reseller network, BRIO decided that with the launch of the new website, they also wanted an efficient support for managing and maintaining their product information. Wanting to collect all their product texts and images in one place and keep consistency in all their channels, BRIO looked for a user-friendly system that would enable them to manage their product data in one place and grow it over time, as well as deliver quality product information to their resellers.
“We selected inRiver PIM because they have a capable software that has an intuitive and user-friendly interface that is easy to work in. inRiver PIM also has a clear plan for future developments, which means we can rest assured that there will be upgrades that keeps us abreast with developments in the software arena. They also have a ready-built connector to our CMS of choice, and make the import and export of data simple. The fact that we also have a geographical proximity to both inRiver and our solution provider supporting us with both inRiver PIM and our CMS also played a significant role in our decision. We went live with inRiver PIM in July, and are now working with it as the center in our IT landscape, feeding our website with product information from inRiver. We will soon be able to provide our resellers with text and images in a simpler way, and extend the use of our product information to more channels in the future” says Francisca Kertzscher, Marketing Manager, BRIO AB.
