Inteno launches new Home Control: Home automation wherever you are

Inteno today introduces Home Control, a full-fledged app for controlling your home from wherever you are. It runs on a standard gateway and you manage it with your smart phone.

Simply by adding sockets, switches and sensors based on standardized radio protocols, Home Control will let you monitor and control your entire home from wherever you are. No separate system is required; it is all running on a standard gateway, powered by the iopsys software.

The iopsys operating system and the Home Control application support Z-Wave and DECT ULE as well as WiFi. Most gateways will have support for one or more of these radio protocols.

The Home Control solution is the result of a partnership between Inteno and Alleato, a Swedish company devoted to verticals within the healthcare and automation sector.

“The co-operation with Inteno has given us a possibility to introduce parts of our professional home care solutions to the home automation market. By using standardized technology throughout the whole product chain, we will be able to offer a very attractive application to a broad market”, says Fredrik Björklund, Technical Manager of Alleato.

“Our applications can be used from anywhere at any time and will be useful to service providers in many of the different vertical markets were we are active. The cooperation with Alleato has not only resulted in a state of the art home automation application but with their experience from the care sector, Home Control is also well suited to take on relatively advanced e-health applications”, says Conny Franzén, CEO of the Inteno group.

Home Control is available from AppStore and Google Play. To use it, you need a residential gateway with the iopsys 2.0 software platform and DECT ULE and Z-Wave based sensors, switches and sockets.
