IsaDora supports Tjejzonen's petition against unrealistic beauty standards

As part of the "True Beauty is Retouch Free" initiative, IsaDora is taking a stand by supporting Tjejzonen's petition to introduce a law regulating the retouching of photographs of models.

IsaDora believes in the power of sisterhood, diversity and self-esteem. We understand that unrealistic beauty ideals can have a negative impact on mental health, especially among young girls. That's why we are proud to support Tjejzonen's petition, says Felicia Ibsen, Global Marketing Director at IsaDora.

Tjejzonen is Sweden's largest support organisation for girls and fights for girls' right to be listened to and for an increase in mental health among all those who define themselves as girls between the ages of 10 and 25. Eva Glückman, Secretary General of Tjejzonen says that questions about concerns or anxieties about appearance come in daily.

– Every night, questions pop up in our support chats about weight, body hatred and anxiety or concerns about not living up to other people's expectations of one's appearance. Therefore, it is extremely important that the beauty industry takes its responsibility and starts marking when they use images that are retouched and show unattainable beauty ideals, says Eva Glückman, Secretary General of Tjejzonen.

By signing this petition, you are not just adding your name to a list - you are standing up for a new era of beauty ideals. A world where imperfections are celebrated, where every body type, every skin tone and every unique feature is welcomed.
