Andreas Bäckman close to a medal in FIA Motorsport Games

Last weekend, October 28th-30th, FIA Motorsport Games was held in France. Andreas Bäckman was representing Sweden and was fighting for the medals, but unfortunately a technical problem in the Qualifying Race took away the hopes of a medal. – Disappointed as it would have been a good starting position for the Main Race to fight for the gold medal, but that is racing sometimes, Andreas Bäckman says.

Andreas Bäckman nära medalj i FIA Motorsport Games

Föregående helg, 28-30 oktober, kördes FIA Motorsport Games i Frankrike. Andreas Bäckman representerade Sverige och var med i medaljstriden, men fick tyvärr tekniska problem i kvalracet som satte stopp för medaljchanserna. – Besviken över kvalracet då jag hade ett perfekt utgångsläge inför huvudracet med chans på guldet, men det är sådant som händer i racing, säger Andreas Bäckman.

Andreas Bäckman competes for Sweden in the “Olympics of Motorsport” in France

This weekend, October 26th-30th, Andreas Bäckman competes for Sweden in the “Olympics of Motorsport” FIA Motorsport Games in France. Bäckman will compete in the Touring Car category for Comtoyou Racing in an Audi RS 3 LMS TCR. – It’s a big honour to be selected to represent Sweden in this prestigious event and I’m looking forward to measure myself against the other drivers, Andreas Bäckman says.

Andreas Bäckman kör för Sverige i ”Motorsportens-OS” i Frankrike

Denna helg, den 26-30 oktober, tävlar Andreas Bäckman för Sverige i ”Motorsportens-OS” FIA Motorsport Games i Frankrike. Bäckman kommer att tävla i Touring Car-klassen för team Comtoyou Racing i en Audi RS 3 LMS TCR. – Det är en stor ära att bli utvald att representera Sverige i denna prestigefyllda tävling och jag ser framemot att få mäta mig mot de andra ländernas förare, säger Andreas Bäckman.

Jessica Bäckman Vice Champion in ADAC TCR Germany 2022

The season finale of the ADAC TCR Germany was held last weekend, October 21-23rd, at the Hockenheimring track in Germany. Jessica Bäckman had a tough start to the weekend with a serious crash in the second practice which followed up with broken wheel suspension in Race 1, but despite this managed to turn the page and secure the Vice Title in the ADAC TCR Germany Championship 2022.

Jessica Bäckman säkrade silvret i ADAC TCR Germany mästerskapet 2022

Säsongsfinalen av ADAC TCR Germany kördes föregående helg, 21–23 oktober, på Hockenheimring i Tyskland. Jessica Bäckman hade en tuff start på helgen med en ordentlig krasch på andra träningen vilket följde upp med trasig hjulupphängning i Race 1, men lyckades trots detta vända blad och säkra silvret i tyska TCR mästerskapet 2022.
