JAYS signs agreement with Virgin in France
Swedish headphone manufacturer Jays AB (publ) has signed an agreement for the sale of the company's products in Virgin Megastores in France.
The Swedish head- and earphone manufacturer Jays AB (publ) is continuing its expansion in the French market with additional distribution agreements. This time, through exclusive distributor, Xtrium, the company has signed an agreement for the models a-JAYS One, Two and Three and v-JAYS for representation in Virgin Megastores and outlets in railway stations and airports across France.
Virgin currently has a strong share of the headphone market in France. It has recently published its new partnership with retail chain Carrefour, with representation in the chain's new Shop In Shop, as a part of its strategic hypermarket concept, called Carrefour Planet.
“Our products have done very well in reviews in the French media and this cooperation is an important step in the pursuit of our strategy to expand in the French market. The fact that JAYS is now sold by Virgin is very exciting since it is an iconic brand with a strong musical connection, and, of course, our headphones are known for their musicality" says Rune Torbjörnsen, CEO of Jays AB (publ).
“Virgin's expanding sales channels and potential of the new product lines combined creates a very strong opportunity for the JAYS brand in France now and in the future" says Tomy Le, CEO of Xtrium.
