SEK 50 million share issue financing in Recap Energy AB (publ) successfully completed

There was great investor interest in Recap Energy AB’s recently completed share issue which ended up being oversubscribed. In total, the subscription is for SEK 53 million and the purpose of the issue is to further invest in Recap’s own development of solar-PV and Energy Storage projects.

Recap was founded in 2010 and has since its initiation developed and advised on numerous renewable energy projects and transactions. During the past few years Recap has focused on developing portfolios of renewable energy assets and gained significant traction with its commercial offers. In addition to this transaction the company has previously attracted capital for project investments from a wide range of capital sources, including e.g., listed asset managers, institutional investors and family offices. The share issue was the company’s first larger and external share issue and will help the Company to invest in its own development and execution of its pipeline of projects.
