Pressmeddelande -

KI Innovations present at UTILEs 2nd Business and Innovation Workshop and Brokerage Event on 10-11 October 2018

Business coach Åsa Kallas will represent KI Innovations when the UTILE project partners gather in Bologna, Italy to provide valorization support to promising health and life science projects funded under FP7 and Horizon 2020.

- The UTILE project is currently in a very interesting phase with extensive interaction with the most promising projects, says Åsa Kallas, business coach at KI Innovations. In addition to identifying interesting assets with commercial potential, we receive valuable feedback related to the needs of the assets owners that will serve as a basis for feedback to the EC.

To KI Innovations, the work within UTILE has been very rewarding.

- This project is well in line with our daily operations within which we provide support for the valorization of knowledge and research results at Karolinska Institutet. It has been interesting and very valuable to exchange knowledge and best practice with European partners with a similar mission, says Lilian Wikström, CEO at KI Innovations. We are pleased to have the opportunity to collaborate with, and benchmark against other outstanding life science TTOs in Europe.

The workshop, led by acknowledged experts, will focus on IP management, access to finance and commercialization routes.

FP7 and Horizon 2020 Health and Life Science projects looking for investments and/or partnerships, as well as projects having or that will soon have potential for commercialization of results, are invited to register for the UTILE Brokerage Event, which will take place on October 11th from 14 to 18h, where projects will pitch in front of international investors and industry representatives, as well as discuss investment or partnering opportunities.
