"It is a great privilege to have the opportunity to share my research expertise in craft history and theory, as part of a team of exceptional colleagues, in an international institution renowned for making. I'm really excited to join the Craft team at Konstfack," says Andrea Peach whose core motivation as an educator is to encourage students to become skilled critical thinkers.
"Jag är den du vill att jag ska vara" är en textbaserad installation som kretsar kring omöjligheten i att protestera mot det som inte syns, och hur envisheten att ändå försöka är både uttröttande och alienerande.
"Historical knowledge must be allowed to pose challenges, but this only occurs once we realise that we are a part of this history: we, our bodies, the air we breathe; in other words, when knowledge takes on a form as if embodied."

This year, the Degree Exhibition is curated by Emily Fahlén and Asrin Haidari whose method is to dig where they stand and, through dialogue with the surrounding context, understand the site's specific relationships, historical connections, conflicts and opportunities.

Before Sharon Hayes’ solo exhibition at Moderna Museet opens on April 12th she will come to Konstfack and give an open lecture Wednesday 10 April, 5.30 pm. Hayes has had solo exhibitions and performances around the world and got the special jury prize at the 55th Venice Biennale (2013), amongst many others. Welcome!

Welcome to Bagni Misteriosi and our proposals for urban diversity and to the Triennale's exhibition Broken nature. Every space has a different need and to create a more diverse public environment we explore the diversity of outdoor spaces, investigating materials, the sculptural aspect of furniture, and the intersection between public and private.
Borders are everywhere. Yet, not all of them are seen and sensed as borders for many. They are designed to be more visible and more violent for certain bodies on the move. This lecture brings forward different instances of how borders operate through material, visual and technical practices and how they can be possibly dismantled through the same capacity of design.
