L´Oréal Professionnel for Alexis Mabille AW14
It is to the very chic Salomon de Rothschild Hotel that the designer Alexis Mabille invited his fans, along with all the international press community, to present this Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Collection. A collection entitled "Coup de Vent” [Gust of Wind], which revolves around this particular meteorological instant rather than a conventional inspiration. The result: this winter, the Alexis Mabille woman’s favorite sport is going to be fashion! This means comfortable and beautifully supple, feminine and asymmetric silhouettes. The standout look being the satin crepe tracksuit that embodies his idea of sportswear as eveningwear. Other highlights of this collection includes: openwork sweaters covered with embroidered tulle, lumberjack check prints worn with long taffeta skirts and sparkling wool cardigans. Not to mention a new take on the man’s shirt, which has four sleeves and is worn as a dress or a sleeve belt. As for the bow, the creator’s signature accessory, “it will be worn casually, untied over a sweatshirt,” says Alexis.

Odile’s strength? “She is able to create any look, ”says Alexis. Today’s look? A “New Wave ” style to emphasise super glossy hair texture. I had to give a visual form to this gust of wind theme, which meant movement, so we brainstormed for quite some time on the idea of hair in motion, ”says the hairstylist. In the end, we opted for a hairstyle that combines a super healthy texture and waves that move.
