The red and black invitation had already set the tone... In Anthony Vaccarello’s world, the autumn and winter of 2014-15 will be placed under the theme of these two tonalities, mixed with touches of white. A fully-assumed color bias that is carried all the way through to the top models’ eyelids. And while we’re on the subject, present at this evening’s show were Anja Rubik, Andreea Diaconu, Magdalena Frackowiak, Malaika Firth and Sam Rollinson. In short, only the best known models, each of whom was seen just once: the talented designer changed his mind at the last minute, casting 10 more girls for a total of 38. The Vaccarello woman of next winter? She’ll be wearing sublime coats and leather Perfecto jackets with XXL collars lined with sheepskin, wrapping herself up during the day in white sweaters with oversized turtlenecks into which she’ll also tuck the lengths of her hair. As for the evening, we’re heading for a frankly sexy look, of military precision. Mini leather skirts with metal touches, flounced or zippered, asymmetric leather tops, chiffon blouses. Intransigent.

The look chosen for today? Hairdresser Anthony Turner describes it in just a few words: “cool, feminine, effortless, rock, that of a masterful woman. Because the Vaccarello woman is ultra-sure of herself, she’s sexy and she plays on it. ”To successfully transcribe all these inspirations, the hairstylist opted for a matte vs. damp contrast in terms of texture, topped with a straight-as-a-die side parting.
