L´Oréal Professionnel for Chloé AW14

Paris, 4 p.m., Fashion Week, day 6. Off to the Grand Palais to discover the Fall/Winter 2014-15 collection designed by Clare Waight Keller, creative director at Chloé. A show attended not only by bloggers and journalists from the fashion and beauty press, who flock backstage, but also by VIPs and great fans of the brand — easily identified because they are dressed head to toe in Chloé. And you have to admit, over the seasons the Chloé woman has assumed a frankly enviable natural, modern and untamed femininity, shrouded in both mystery and confidence... The key pieces of this winter’s collection are almost all in pastel colors, contrasted here and there with graphic black and ivory. Wraparound collars, richly colored Jacquard fabric, leather quilted jackets, puffy textures, diaphanous cashmeres, feline furs strewn with wild fringes, and unstructured coats with sweatshirt pockets.

HAIR STYLING by JAMES PECIS

Modern. Iconic. Glow girl. These are the three keywords of James Pecis, who is at the helm of the show’s hairstyling, to describe the inspiration behind the Chloé hair look. “For this winter, with Clare, we wanted a 100% Chloé look, synthesizing all the house’s most memorable campaigns.” So it was by compiling all the photographs that they together imagined this hairstylg in motion, with a slightly shiny texture and lengths left almost free. “A chic and super-easy hairstyle that can be worn in an everyday context.”
