L´Oréal Professionnel for Sonia Rykiel AW14
The Rykiel house chose to present its Fall-Winter 2014-2015 collection at Salle Wagram, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. An eagerly awaited moment. As proof, while the most influential fashion editors took their place in the first row, the other six rows of seating and the standing space filled at the speed of light. Not a single place remained, even in the staircase, when the show began. Meanwhile, backstage, the models start to dress. A very attractive fitting room composed mainly of the most popular top models, including Anna Ewers, Eddie Campbell, Andreea Diaconu, Amanda Wellsh, Aymeline Valade, Miranda Kerr and Ginta Lapina.
From the very first looks, the tone is set: softness is the key word for this collection. On today’s menu, extra-large sleeveless furs, cashmeres with oversized turtlenecks, and long woollen coats with XXL pockets. In sum, an ode to the cocooning trend.
Although today’s hairstyle, flaunted backstage, looks simple, it is a very difficult one to create... In fact, to produce this hairstyle, both urban and romantic, three key steps must be respected and a good dose of patience is needed.
